A restaurant in New York tried to figure out why they were getting more and more complaints about delays in service – and discovered, surprisingly, that mobile phones were to blame.

Market Diner hired an outside company to investigate the increase in complaints.

That company went back to security video from 2004 and compared it to current video.

They found that it took about one hour and 55 minutes for customers to get in and out of the restaurant.

In 2004, that time was one hour and five minutes.

The cause of this increase?

Well, unlike in 2004, customers today spend a lot of time taking pictures of their food and goofing off on their phones before ordering – slowing everything down and making people wait. (Fox News)
