The annual 4th of July Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest was held yesterday in Coney Island. Joey Chestnut won the competition for the 7th year in a row by downing a record-breaking 69 hot dogs in 10 minutes.

Chestnut broke his own previous record of the 68 hot dogs. Chestnut also set a new record for consecutive title defenses, a record previously held by Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi, who won 6 years in a row between 2001 and 2006 before losing to Chestnut.
