The NFL has never paid for a Super Bowl Halftime act and if they get their way, they're going to take it one step further. The NFL has apparently now gone in the opposite direction, asking potential acts to now pay for the privilege to perform and the most watched event on TV.
According to the WSJ, The NFL figures an artist will score an immediate bump in music and touring revenue-The league has asked the performers if they would be willing to contribute a portion of their Post Super Bowl earnings to the NFL or make a contribution in exchange for performing on the biggest live stage on the planet...
