Last week there were at least a few really good stories worth sharing. Here are my favorites.

A New Mexico man whose Alzheimer's disease has resulted in him losing most of his speech over the last six months to a year, manages to speak to the family dog in this video:

Then there's the story of Ed Shevlin, a sanitation worker who for about a year has been rescuing damaged American flags people have tossed in the trash, saving them for proper, dignified disposal. Hear him tell his story in his own words:
