Born with only half of his right arm, 6-year-old Alex Pring had to endure questions from classmates about why part of his arm was missing. While it may have simply been curiosity and not taunting, Alex's parents still hurt from the questions.

Now young Alex has a prosthetic arm produced using 3-D printer technology by engineering students at the University of Central Florida. Prosthetic limbs can cost $40,000, yet the students managed to provide this 3-D arm for just $350.

Watch as they document Alex giving his mom a hug with both arms for the first time in his life!
