With all the celebration of one of Country Musics celebration last night at the CMA's in Nashville, we are getting news that country icon and Grand Ole Opry member and Country Hall of Famer Roy Clark has passed away at the age of 85 from complications from pneumonia at home in Tulsa, Okla.
Roy is best known for his contribution to the hit TV show 'Hee Haw' and he then spent decades making country hits like "Yesterday When I Was Young' and 'Honeymoon Feeling'. Clark spent much of the 1950's playing in bands around Washington, DC before he got his shot at being the frontman of Wanda Jackson's' band.
R.I.P. Roy, you will be missed!
