We Raised Over Half A Million Dollars During Our 2018 St. Jude Radiothon!

Our 2018 St. Jude Radiothon was a huge success and it's all because of YOU! We raised $524,734 for the children of St. Jude Children's Hospital over the course of two days and could not have done it without all of your help.

We had a very special guest join us on day 2 of our Radiothon. Some of you may remember Tim of Poolesville, MD from last year's Radiothon and we were thrilled to have him join us again to share his story. In 2010, Tim was listening to the WMZQ Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon and after hearing the stories told on-air, he decided to become a Partner In Hope by donating $20 a month to St. Jude. Well just two months later he received the phone call that no parent wants to hear...his son, Phillip, was diagnosed with cancer. Phillip joined Ty Bailey and Corey on-air to share both his story and the impact St. Jude had on his family.

Tim stayed with us through the remainder of the Radiothon and even jumped on the Croppmetcalfe Phone Bank to register callers to become Partners In Hope.

One special call that came earlier in the day came from Matthew Facchina of Delmarva Site Development, as he donated $15,000 to our Radiothon!

And this radiothon wouldn't have been what it was without the help from our volunteers answering your phone calls over the past two days. Thank you, thank you, thank you! And of course, thank you to all of our loyal listeners who made it possible for us to beat last year's number and raise over half a million dollars for the kids of St. Jude!
