St. Louis has caused quite the conversation where people kneaded to shared their feelings in the past few days!
Twitter user @AlekKrautmann posted this photo of bagels sliced like bread to Twitter with the caption "Today I introduced my coworkers to the St Louis secret of ordering bagels bread sliced. It was a hit!" and the internet has gone WILD with this simple revelation. Is this the hot new thing? Is this blasphemy against the bagel? Are they doing this just for the publicity? WE DON'T KNOW.
But what we do know is that people are far from stale when it comes to voicing their opinions.
Well...apparently there is a theory to this madness.
Buzzfeed News jumped onto the #Bagelgate trend and spoke to someone who works at a Panera in St. Louis and they said that each Panera is equipped with an automatic bread slicer where they can cut the bagels like bread so it is “easy to dip in cream cheese or butter or just snack on in smaller bites.”
With this information, we honestly aren't sure if our minds are blown or if this is an outrage.
