TMZ has reported and released Sam Hunt's mugshot for being caught driving under the influence.
The report says that he was pulled over in Nashville after his car was seen driving the wrong direction down the street and he had two empty beer cans in the car next to him. Police say that his eyes were bloodshot, he smelled like alcohol, handed them a credit card and a passport instead of his license and he had admitted to "recently" consuming alcohol. When he was put through the sobriety test, his blood alcohol level was twice that of the legal limit -- .173.
Video was posted of him leaving the Metro jail after he paid a $2,500 bond. News outlet WKRN states that his court date has been set for Jan. 17, 2020.
