For the second year in a row, The Oscars will not feature a host for their award ceremony.
The announcement came via The Academy's Twitter as they listed what we could expect from this year's show in a nutshell.
The Hollywood Reporter also reported that Karey Burke, President of ABC Entertainment, said "Let me confirm it now, together with the Academy, that there will be no traditional host this year,” at a Television Critics Association press event.
In 2019, Kevin Hart was originally set to host the show but then withdrew after controversy arose on his behalf. According to the Daily News, The Oscars ratings went up in 2019 amid not having an emcee for the annual evening.
The 2020 Oscars will air on February 9 on ABC.
