The coronavirus has made it's way into the country music community as Joe Diffie has revealed via his publicist that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
“I am under the care of medical professionals and currently receiving treatment. My family and I are asking for privacy at this time. We want to remind the public and all my fans to be vigilant, cautious and careful during this pandemic,” the statement reads.
While Diffie is the first artist to announce that reveal that he has been affected by the coronavirus, the disease has had an effect on other artists. Because of it, Zac Brown Band cancelled their entire Roar With The Lions Tour and both Sam Hunt & Thomas Rhett have announced postponements for the beginning of their tours.
