Sports are slowly making a return because BASEBALL IS BACK!
ESPN announced that baseball will make a return officially on July 1 as that is the date set for MLB training camps to open.
The abbreviated season will last for 60 games with an extended playoff run. According to ESPN "Major League Baseball owners voted unanimously to proceed with the 2020 MLB season under the terms of their March 26 agreement with the MLB Players Association"
Opening Day is projected to be around July 24 and 10 teams will make the playoffs and it is expected that players will be awarded approx. 37% of their full-season salary as long as the schedule is completed.
