The worst outcome Washington Football fans could have feared has been confirmed...star defensive end Chase Young is out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. The NFL confirmed the news.
Young suffered the tear in his right knee during yesterday's win over Tom Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The injury happened during the second quarter when Young went to rush Brady on 3rd and 2. Clearly in pain after hitting the ground, the team sent out the injury cart to usher Young off the field, but he declined the ride and instead limped off the field with the help of guard Brandon Scherff and the team's athletic trainers.
Young was the league's 2020 Defensive Rookie of the Year.
