After suffering from a stoke back in May, Loretta Lynn has been taking the necessary steps needed to recover and part of that process is prolonging the release of her upcoming album "Wouldn't It Be Great". In addition, she and her management had decided to cancel her remaining shows for 2017.
In a recently released statement to Rolling Stone Country, Loretta said:
"I now want to wait to release [Wouldn't It Be Great] next year because this record is so special for me. It deserves me at my best and I can't wait to share it. I want to thank everyone for hanging in there with me. I am getting stronger every day and can't wait to get back out there with all of you."
The album was originally set to be released on August 18 (as announced on her Instagram back in April) but it appears that we'll have to wait a bit longer until Loretta is 110% again!
