In a matter of three months, Thomas Rhett went from having no children to having two girls under the age of two...and he and his wife, Lauren, wouldn't have it any other way.
They opened up to People Magazine about their budding family saying that "we're tired, but we're happy!"
The new parents say that Willa Gray, whom they adopted from Uganda in May, has adjusted extremely well into her new role as big sister, but the hardest part has been sharing mommy time. With Ada James, born on August 12, being not even a month old yet, she is constantly attached to Lauren either sleeping or nursing.
"Willa Gray is constantly saying, ‘Hold you? Hold you?’ and she wants me to pick her up. That has been the hardest part for her,” Lauren said.
Thomas and Lauren are taking things one step at a time and credit their families to being the best "on the planet" with helping out with their newest additions.
Thomas Rhett will be performing at Fall Fest on Saturday, October 7 at Jiffy Lube Live.
