WMZQ Fall Fest Honors Vegas Victims with Moment of Silence

Just 6 days following the tragic shooting in Las Vegas at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, 23,000 fans gathered at Jiffy Lube Live to celebrate country music at WMZQ Fall Fest ft. Thomas Rhett, Dan + Shay, Walker Hayes and more.

Prior to the National Anthem being performed on the main stage, Michael J took the microphone to lead the crowd into a moment of silence.

"I'd like to take a moment to remember the souls that we lost and the hundreds more still healing along with their families. We would like to thank our first responders.  We would like to thank our police force. We would like to thank our fire department. We would like to thank our paramedics. We would like to thank our security guards who risked it all and the hospital and medical staffs. And I would like to add to our veterans who were in the crowd that night, who jumped into action and all of the heroes who made their first thought to save loved ones and fellow country fans."

Our hearts go out to those affected by the Las Vegas tragedy and we stand strong with our country community.
