¡Olé!

A new baja inspired hang-out is coming to the Shaw neighborhood of Washington D.C. and all we can say is pass the salt! Cortez will be a two-story restaurant and roof-top bar opening on 9th St equipped with a frozen margarita machine, festive graffiti murals lining the walls and "thousands and thousands of dollars" worth of greenery as decor, according to D.C. Eater.

That time we flew in San Francisco’s top graffiti muralist to pull 3 all nighters in a row to paint our murals in time for our opening @camer1sf

The upstairs bar will feature upwards of "30 different tequilas, rums, Latin American beers and Mexican cocktails" and people will be able to snack on tacos and other coastal-inspired entrees on the main level.

Cortez will open for business on Friday, March 16 at 5P and brunch will start on Saturday, March 17.

Who wants a margarita? 😎
