A Pop-Up Bar Dedicated To Rick and Morty Is Coming To Washington D.C.

Drink Company has been hosting pop-up bars at 1839 7th St., NW that wow guests with their innovative themes for some time now (these people are the minds behind the recent Royal Wedding PUB, Cherry Blossom PUB, Miracle on 7th St Christmas themed PUB and more) and they recently revealed that their latest pop-up bar will be themed after the animated sci-fi series, Rick and Morty.

The Wubba Lubba Dub PUB will be opened from Aug. 9 Aug. 16 through Oct. 6 and will feature drinks such as the Get Schwifty (Tequila, St. Germain, Watermelon, Lime, Salt), Pirates of the Pancreas (Plantation Pineapple Rum, Manzanilla, Amontillado, Coconut, Pineapple, Salt) and more in addition to themed shots and a handful of non-alcoholic cocktails.

In a recent interview with Washingtonian Magazine, Drink Company CEO Angie Fetherston revealed that the idea behind this theme came last year when she and other Drink Company team members went out for Halloween dressed as the Council of Ricks, a nod to the show. In light of that, the Wubba Lubba Dub PUB will have the general entrance for anyone interested in coming through but then a separate entrance specifically for people who come dressed as Ricks.
