Kenny Chesney is used to selling out stadiums with his high-energy performances, but he's taking a different approach to his shows for next year! Chesney revealed that he is scaling back his upcoming tour to play smaller, more intimate venues on his 2019 Songs For The Saints tour...including a stop at The Anthem in Washington DC! In a recent social media post he said:
Last year, @noshoesnation took it to a whole other level and they blew all of us away. It was the kind of energy you don’t take for granted. So when we started thinking about next year, they made me wanna come to them. Rather than the massive two-day set-up, make everyone come to a stadium away from their homes, I wanted to go to where the fans live, strip things back a bit, and make it a little more intimate. I’m fired up for 2019.
Compared to the 25,000+ capacity at Jiffy Lube Live, The Anthem holds upwards of 6,000 people, so those who are lucky enough to score tickets will be in for a unique and special show! Dates and ticket information are yet to be released.
