We were without a doubt hooked on Dylan Scott's sold out Nothing To Do Town Tour stop at the Fillmore Silver Spring on Saturday, Jan. 19!
The "My Girl" singer caught up with Corey before taking the stage and revealed a release date that fans have been waiting for! At his shows, Dylan sings a never-before-released song called "Anniversary" and while the views on YouTube videos of the song have racked up thousands of views, you'll soon be able to have the studio version! "Everybody's asking about it after they hear it at the show, so it's coming out on April 26," Dylan revealed at the end of the interview!
If you haven't heard the song, you can check it out below!
Corey also had to ask him about his little guy, Beckett, who turned one in December! With Dylan constantly on the road, we would have thought that there was a chance that the father-of-one would have missed one of Beckett's big milestones like first steps or first words...but that's not the case! Dylan shared a story that while he was gone for five days, Beckett didn't make his first strides across the floor until he got home. He also admitted that his new single, "Nothing To Do Town" is his son's favorite song of his and that he has some musical genes in him!
After hanging out on the bus, it was time to get the show started! Dylan kicked off the show with infectious sophomore single "Hooked" (which was written in part by opener Seth Ennis) and intertwined a little bit of Black Eyed Peas inspiration into the song to prove that it really was going to be a good night. And then of course, the sold out crowd erupted when he played "My Girl" complete with footage from his wedding playing in the background!
There was no way Silver Spring, MD was a nothing to do town on Jan. 19 because we were all singing at the top of our lungs to our #iHeartAwards Best New Country Artist nominee! (Tune into the show on March 14 to see if Dylan wins!)
