Get In The #ALLCAPS Playoff Mood With Murals Around DC

The reigning Stanley Cup champions, your Washington Capitals, have returned to the playoffs for the fifth year in a row and DC is painting the town red to celebrate!

The Caps have teamed up with local DMV artists to rock the red with Instagram worthy murals popping up in neighborhoods around the region. Artist Matt Corado designed this #ALLCAPS mural outside of the H Street Country Club (1335 H Street NE, Washington D.C., 20002) and in his bio published by the NHL, it says that he style "is heavily influenced by his youth and admiration for pop art, skateboarding and comic books," which you can see come through in his art!

In addition, artist Robert Generette III created a mural displaying seven players over a map of Washington DC located at the DHCD Housing Resource Center (1800 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE Washington, DC 20020) and for the fans up in Baltimore, they can check out a mural of Slapshot behind Hammerjacks (1300 Russell Street Baltimore, MD 21230) created by artist Zach Shuta.

As of this point, one more mural is set to appear in DC! It will be displayed at Ludlow-Taylor Elementary School beginning on April 14.
