Woman Warns People To Not Put Octopus On Their Faces After Hospitalization

FYI: don't put a live octopus on your face.

Jamie Bisceglia of Washington state was participating in a fishing derby when she and her friends found a small octopus while out on the water. The fishing derby was hosting a photo contest and Bisceglia came up with the idea of putting the creature on her face to snap the shot and well...spoiler alert...it didn't end well for her. Bisceglia contracted an infection from the octopus' beak after she was bitten and she was hospitalized for treatment.

"I'm on three different antibiotics...I'm still in pain," she told NBC. "I want people to know to not do this."
