Miranda Lambert Gets Her Buzz On With New Song 'Tequila Does'

Miranda Lambert has shared another new song, "Tequila Does," from her upcoming album, Wildcard, due out on November 1. The twangy, ode to tequila was written alongside longtime collaborators, Jon Randall and Jack Ingram.

"'Tequila Does' is country. And country music makes me happy," Lambert says. "No matter how rock or edgy or scorned you can get, when you come back to a country song with a steel guitar, it makes my soul feel like it's on fire."

"Tequila Does" marks Lambert's seventh song released off her upcoming 14-track album. Previously released songs include lead single, "It All Comes Out In The Wash," "Locomotive," "Mess With My Head," "Blue Bird," "Pretty Bitchin'" and "Way Too Pretty For Prison" a duet featuring Maren Morris.

Lambert is currently headlining her "Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour" running through November 22 alongside supporting acts, Elle King, Maren Morris, Tenille Townes, Ashley McBryde, Caylee Hammack, and the Pistol Annies. In honor of the female power packed trek, Lambert and her tour mates came together for a collaboration of the classic, "Fooled Around and Fell In Love."

Additionally, Lambert plans to hit the road in 2020 for her "Wildcard Tour" in support of the new record. The tour will kick off on January 16 in Tupelo, Mississippi and will run through May 9 in Montreal Quebec. Joining her on this journey around the country will be Texas country singer, Cody Johnson and Lanco.
