Jon Pardi is in the process of rescheduling his upcoming shows due to illness.
Pardi announced in a clip on Instagram on Friday (October 2) that he will postpone this weekend’s performances in Macon, Georgia, and Biloxi, Mississippi. He explained, “I’m very sick, and I ain’t 100%.
“I got through Wilmington, North Carolina last night, squeaking by. And I sang good, but it just — I gave it all I had last night and I want to be 100% for everybody,” Pardi said. “I apologize. I know you probably got hotels, babysitters, and I want to get the news out as soon as possible to not have you guys drive everywhere. And I love you guys, and I just want to be 100%. I don’t want to be up there struggling, sick, coughing up mucus on stage, and blowing my nose. It’s just tough right now. So, I appreciate all of you, and thank you for understanding.”
Pardi assured, “we’re working on getting rescheduled dates, so hold onto your tickets. We’re going to get emails out, and just hold onto everything. I’m coming back. We ain’t canceled. We’re just rescheduled because I don’t want to, you know, I don’t want to be up there not singing well.”
The Mr. Saturday Night star said as he signed off, “I appreciate everybody,” and promised to keep fans informed on the rescheduled dates. He later shared that his Biloxi show will now take place on October 29. His Macon show is rescheduled to October 30. All tickets will still be honored for the new dates, and refunds will be available at the point of purchase, according to Pardi. Watch Pardi’s announcement here:
