Saturday also marked one month since my dad died. I still can't believe that is an actual sentence. Still hard to grasp that he is gone. So Saturday I put all my devastation, sadness, heartbreak, and anger in a workout class. Zengo Cycle has been unbelievably therapeutic. It's like I am in a class but also working out alone at the same time. The music...the sweat...the sprints...it helps me let it all out. Also I HIGHLY SUGGEST going to Melissa's class. She is INCREDIBLE. First ride is free- not an endorsement just a big fan!
Saturday night I did something to celebrate my dad...I did an open mic night. The last 5 years of my dads life he spent doing stand up comedy so I gave it a shot! It was SO FUN but I am more of an in bed at 8pm gal...I couldn't do this comedy late night life.
I love our weekend tradition- going to a class at My Gym Bethesda then to the mall. We are officially parents in the burbs and we absolutely love it.
Monday we had the grandparents over for a Memorial Day BBQ! Not pictured: the delicious wine. Hope you all had a lovely weekend
