Bobby Bones Joins Dancing With The Stars Cast For Upcoming Season

Nationally syndicated radio host Bobby Bones of The Bobby Bones Show was just announced as a cast member on the upcoming season on ABC's Dancing With The Stars.

The DWTS Season 27 premiere kicks off a night of glamour and fun on Monday, September 24th. The full season competition kicks off with an all-new cast of celebrities, including our own Bobby Bones, former Facts of Life star Nancy McKeon, former Olympic gymnast Mary Lou Retton, model Alexis Ren, Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider, former NFL linebacker DeMarcus Ware, Paralympic alpine skier Danelle Umstead, Nikki Glaser, Fuller House star Juan Pablo Di Pace, singer Tinashe, Joe Amabile (“Grocery Store Joe”) from The Bachelorette and Disney actor Milo Manheim. Every week Bones and the other celebrities will get out of their comfort zones and endure hours of rehearsals to learn new dance styles and the technical choreography they need to perform a winning dance, aiming to win the Mirrorball trophy.

They will be judged by the panel of renowned ballroom experts Len GoodmanCarrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli, as well as voted upon by viewers. Bones will need each and every listener of the Bobby Bones Show to root him (AKA vote!) on in this exciting new chapter of his life.

Bones will be partnered up with Sharna Burgess. Burgess is from Australia and began training in ballet, jazz, and gymnastics at 5 years old. At 15 years old, she was chosen to represent Australia at the World Championships in both the standard and Latin styles. For most of her stints on DWTS, she has been paired up with professional athletes. However, she says that Bones "dedication and willingness to learn" has made him one of her favorites to work with so far.
