Chris Janson Used To Make Snow Cones and Wrap Bales of Hay

Chris Janson had a rough end to 2018 when someone stole his guitar out of a friend's car during their time at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. He didn't let that stop him from putting out new music though and he definitely didn't let it get to him. Janson stopped by The Bobby Bones Show to talk about his latest single, put on an epic performance and talk all new life things.

Janson's stolen guitar is easily recognizable as it has his name on it, but he says if he ever saw someone playing it, "I wouldn't confront them. I'd let them keep it because I know what it feels like to be in desperate situations. You make bad decisions." That situation didn't stop Janson from having a great holiday, he had a Christmas and New Year's Eve party where Kid Rock, Amy and Eddie all showed up. Following up the new year, Janson is set on putting out new music. He has a new album dropping in September and we got the first look at the sound of the record with the first single "Good Vibes." This album is a result of his song "Drunk Girl" doing so well on the charts. Janson says he was writing a bunch due to feeling good about the song and how it connected with his fans. So this new record is all of those songs following his emotional hit "Drunk Girl."

On the upcoming record, fans will be able to hear his wife and kids' singing talents. They all sang on a song called "Hawaii On Me" with Janson. The song was recorded in his basement and one of the highlights is his daughter Georgia as "she can hold a tune." As far as more kids are concerned though, Janson is ready for more kids, but his wife Kelly doesn't want any more. In 2018, Janson was on the road for Jake Owen's "Life's Whatcha Make It Tour" and after the tour wrapped up, Owen sent Janson a camouflage golf cart and golf clubs that were sent to his house for being one of his special guests on the road.

Before country music though, Janson had some other jobs. He says the worst job was definitely wrapping bales of hay. He grew up in a farming community and was really used to doing grunt work. As far as odd jobs go, Janson also made snow cones.
