ABC Apologizes After Claiming Footage Was From The Syrian War Zone

ABC News had claimed to be presenting video of an attack on the border town of Tal Abyad. They aired the footage below on Sunday's "World News Tonight" and on "Good Morning America" on Monday.

The thing is, Gizmodo did a comparison to show the video was actually captured at Knob Creek Gun Range in West Point, Kentucky back in 2017.

ABC News has since removed the video and released a statement in which they issued a correction and apologized for the mistake.

You would think someone would be fired over this, right?
