Limo That Crashed Shouldn't Have Been On The Road

According to New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, The driver of a supersized limousine involved in a crash that killed 20 people outside an upstate New York country store wasn't properly licensed, and the limo failed a state safety inspection just last month and shouldn't have been on the road.

You can read more about this tragic story here but this is definitely a moment to reflect on the simple trust we put in people, companies and even search engine results.

How often have you gone online to find a specific business or item, read reviews and just went with someone?  Thousands of times.  And it could have been any one of us that booked a limo company assuming they were reputable, using safe vehicles.

We should be applauding this family who went out of their way to make sure they were being responsible by not drinking and driving while celebrating a birthday and this happens?  So sad.
