Dierks Bentley is a seasoned pilot. He knows when things aren't great in the sky. It is unclear if he was the pilot last night but his timing getting back on the ground in Nashville was impecable.
On Twitter as seen below, Bentley shared video of a storm cell he says turned into a tornado. Dierks was flying into John C. Tune Airport, which on the city's northwest side. While we keep hearing about East Nashville and various surrounding cities, this area was not spared. Nor was this airport. Taste of Country shared footage on Twitter of the airport after the storm. You can see that below as well.
On Facebook, Dierks echoed his sentiment posted on Twitter that "No one comes together as a city like Nashville."
