Miranda Lambert and Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong had crossed paths in 2014 and will once again in 2017.
It has been announced that Miranda will be featured on the Green Day's upcoming compilation album, Greatest Hits: God's Favorite Band, in a re-vamp of the band's 2016 track "Ordinary World"
As mentioned, this is not the first time that Miranda and Billie Joe will have done a song together! At the 56th Grammy Awards, the two singers joined forces to honor the late Phil Everly with their rendition of the Everly Brothers' "When Will I Be Loved."
At the rehearsals for the performance, Miranda was asked about the unusual pairing and said "I've never really sang with someone from a totally different genre than mine like this." She then followed with "His voice sounds so amazing with this kind of music...and I'm so excited to do this collaboration."
