YOU Helped Us Raise Over $170K On Day 1 Of Our St. Jude Radiothon

Day 1 of our 2018 Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon was a huge success as we were able to raise a total $171,917 with YOUR help for the children of St. Jude, which beats last year's day 1 total!

The day started with performances from Brett Eldredge, Danielle Bradbery, Walker Hayes, Jimmie Allen and newcomer Kassi Ashton on the Bobby Bones Show and then we turned the mic over to Michael J, Ty Bailey and Corey Calhoun in the WMZQ Sound Stage to keep your donations coming.

The phones at our Croppmetcalfe phone bank were ringing with people in the DMV becoming Partners in Hope, which is just a $20 donation per month, and plenty of food from our friends at Papa John's and Jersey Mike's.

Early on in the day, our friends at Northern Virginia Orthodontics stopped by to hop on-air with Michael J AND give a very special presentation...a check of $1,000 towards our Radiothon!

A special moment came when one of our volunteers from Children First Pediatrics was willing to MATCH each donation that came in during the 11AM hour and when our friends Elizabethany from HOT 99.5 and Jenni Chase stopped by to show their support...and even hop on air with us for a bit!

By the end of the day, we were able to total up a whopping $171,917 for the kids of St. Jude...but we aren't done yet! We still have one more day of our Radiothon where you can become a Partner In Hope and get an awesome This Shirt Saves Lives t-shirt! Want to become a Partner In Hope like listener Natalie (below)?
