Cherry Blossom Pop Up Bar Will Return To DC!

D.C.'s famous Cherry Blossom Pop-Up-Bar operated by Drink Company returns to it's Shaw location on Friday, Feb. 28 and if you went to the PUB in one of the last two years, imagine the bar being that but with MORE cherry blossoms!

The Washingtonian revealed that between two of the four bars in the PUB, there will be more than 100,000 fake blossoms encompassing the space as well as murals to make customers feel like they are standing at the Tidal Basin and of course, a photo booth so you can commemorate your trip to the #CherryBlossomPUB!

In years past, the PUB has also paid tribute to other aspects of the Japanese culture such as Super Mario Bros. and Godzilla. So what is this year's Japanese element? Ramen.

Yes, ramen! There will apparently be a massive bowl of ramen in the back room with "large installations of ramen toppings, like fish cakes, pork belly, and scallions" to give you the full effect of the meal coming to life. Uzu, a ramen stall in Union Market, will also contribute to the PUB with ramen dishes for purchase on-site Wednesday-Sunday! It still remains a mystery what the fourth room in the bar will be decorated as but according to the article, it "will open sometime in March."

The Cherry Blossom PUB will be open from 5P starting on Feb. 28 through April 21 and is located at 1839 7th St., NW.
