Maryland's Safest Cities of 2019 Revealed

Two of the five safest cities in the state of Maryland are Baltimore suburbs, according to SafeHome.org.

FOX45 reported that the security system website ranks Ocean Pines (Worchester County), Taneytown (Carroll County), Bowie (Prince George's County), New Carrollton (Prince George's County) and Bel Air (Harford County) as the safest cities in the Old Line State. This list is generated on data collected in 2018 surrounding FBI data of population, property crimes, violent crime trend, violent crimes, citizen to officer ratio and property crime trend. In addition to being ranked as one of the safest in MD, Bowie also ranked number 68 on their list of 101 Safest Cities in America with an 86.34 safety score.
