Over 60,000 Pounds of Beef Recalled Days Before Holiday Weekend

With Memorial Day right around the corner, now is a pretty inopportune time for raw beef to be recalled...but unfortunately that is what's happening.

According to CNN, "The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a recall for more than 62,000 pounds of raw beef due to E. coli concerns."

The USDA themselves have published a press release notifying consumers that beef packaged on April 19, 2019 from Aurora Packing Company. Inc in North Aurora, IL is the product subject to the recall and they have "EST 788" printed on the USDA mark of inspection. Click here to view a full list of the products.
