Fans of Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale are celebrating because it was announced today (Friday, Jul 26) that the show has officially been renewed for a fourth season. The announcement was made during the Television Critics Association press tour. What was not announced however was when we can expect season four to be released.

The critically acclaimed show debuted in April 2017 and season three premiered on June 5th and will conclude on August 14.

If you are unfamiliar with the show, People Magazine describes it as the following: "Based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, the series follows June/Offred (played by Elisabeth Moss) in a dystopian world called Gilead following a Second American Civil War, where women are oppressed and only used in society for their fertility."
