Former Dancing With The Stars pro and current America's Got Talent judge Julianne Hough has stripped everything down in a new cover story for Women's Health Magazine and has revealed that she is "not straight."
In the interview, which you can read in full here, Hough admitted that four months after she married NHL player Brooks Laich (who actually spent the '03-'04 and '05-'16 seasons with the Washington Capitals) in July 207, she began a transformation in creating a new dance method called Kinrgy and was "connecting to the woman inside that doesn’t need anything, versus the little girl that looked to him to protect me." During this time period she discovered her most "authentic self," which led to her revealing something to her husband that would catch him by surprise last year.
“I [told him], ‘You know I’m not straight, right?’ And he was like, ‘I’m sorry, what?’ I was like, ‘I’m not. But I choose to be with you,’ she told Women's Health.
“I think there’s a safety with my husband now that I’m unpacking all of this,” Hough continued, “and there’s no fear of voicing things that I’ve been afraid to admit or that I’ve had shame or guilt about because of what I’ve been told or how I was raised.”
Hough and Laich are still together and began the IVF process last July.
