Country Radio Icon Bob Kingsley Dies At The Age Of 80

At the age of 80, country radio icon Bob Kingsley has lost his battle with bladder cancer at his home in Weatherford, TX.

Kingsley had been hosting Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40 since 2006 until he announced on October 9 that he would be taking a leave from the show to treat his cancer. According to All Access, "a celebration of life will be held in Nashville on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 1PM CT at the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall Of Fame. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kingsley's name to the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Museum or the Grand Ole Opry Trust Fund."
