Wizards To Show Game 7 Of World Series In Arena Following Game

If you're headed down to Capital One Arena for the Washington Wizards' home opener tonight but afraid of missing out on the finale of the World Series, don't fret!

To celebrate the Nationals' historic run in the World Series, the Wizards have announced that following the conclusion of their game they will be showing the remainder of Game 7 on the scoreboard. So if you have a ticket to tonight's game, don't worry about running to the nearest bar to catch the end of the Nats vs. Astros battle because you'll be able to stay put in your seat to watch!

With this announcement, WMATA is extending the Metro's hours so fans don't have to worry about getting home after the game. According to a press release, after 11:30 p.m., customers can enter Metrorail only at the following locations:

  • Navy Yard-BallparkBoth entrances open
  • Waterfront
  • L’Enfant PlazaEnter at 7th & D sts SW or 7th & Maryland Ave SW only
  • Gallery Place – ChinatownEnter at 7th & F sts NW or 7th & H sts NW only

All other stations will be exit only after 11:30 p.m.
