On Friday, April 24, President Trump signed a bill for $484 billion to aid small businesses, hospitals and testing.
The distribution of the money will allocate $370 billion to small businesses to assist with payroll, $75 billion to hospitals to aid covering medical costs and $25 billion to amplify testing.
According to CNBC, "the package becomes the fourth passed by Congress to respond to the outbreak, with a total cost approaching $3 trillion."
MarketWatch reported that "[t]he bill received overwhelming support in the House, with 388 votes in favor of it and only five against it, while the Senate approved it by a voice vote."
