Like the rest of us, Leslie Knope is trying to stay connected with her friends and co-workers virtually during this time!
Amy Pohler announced in a video that the cast of Parks and Recreation will come together for a half-hour special on April 30 to benefit Feeding America on NBC. In addition to our favorite Pawnee, Indiana Deputy Director of Parks & Recreation, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Jim O’Heir and Retta will also be part of the special from their respective homes. According to the Hollywood Reporter, we could see some additional faces as well as the show's co-creator and writers logging on.
"Like a lot of other people, we were looking for ways to help and felt that bringing these characters back for a night could raise some money,” co-creator Mike Schur said. “I sent a hopeful email to the cast and they all got back to me within 45 minutes. Our oldParks and Rec team has put together one more 30-minute slice of (quarantined) Pawnee life and we hope everyone enjoys it. And donates!"
