Masks Now Required On Ocean City Boardwalk

Ocean City Reopens Boardwalk And Beach As Maryland Reopens Some Businesses During Coronavirus Pandemic

As of 5PM today, July 31, masks will be required on the Ocean City, Maryland boardwalk for anyone over the age of 5-years-old between the times of 8AM-2AM due to the coronavirus pandemic. The order comes from a declaration signed by OCMD mayor Rick Meehan.

This declaration comes just days after Gov. Larry Hogan ordered that masks be worn in all outdoor spaces where a physical distance of 6 feet is not able to be maintained between individuals.

According to the declaration, one who violates the order is subject to all criminal penalties available by and through the Governor's order and town code.
