Siegfried Fishbacher of Siegfried & Roy Dead at 81

Iconic Las Vegas illusionist Siegfried Fishbacher of the duo Siegfried and Roy has died at the age of 81 from pancreatic cancer.

According to the Associated Press, Fishbacher passed away in his Las Vegas home.

Fishbacher's stage partner, Roy Horn, died in May 2020 from COVID-19 complications at the age of 75.

The duo gained international stardom for their stunning magic tricks and activism to save white tigers and white lions from extinction. The animals were featured in their show and in 2003, they created headlines when one of the white tigers attacked Horn during the show. He suffered from a severed spine, dramatic blood loss and impaired motor and verbal abilities.
