Dierks Bentley Debuts New Song in Concert

Dierks Bentley is a little bit holy water, little bit burning man.

The country debuted “Burning Man,” a new song about the ups and downs through his life, at a recent concert at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.

“Half your life you struggle, half your life you fly/Half your life making trouble, half your life making it right/One day I’m the exception, most days I’m just like most/Some days I’m headed in the right direction and some days I ain’t even close,” Dierks sings in the song’s first verse.

“Burning Man” is the first taste of what will presumably be Dierks’ ninth studio album, the follow-up to 2016’s Black.

The singer most recently released a collaboration with Bon Iver’s S. Carey called “Hold the Light.” The song was featured on the soundtrack for Only the Brave, the film about the 19 firefighters who died battling an Arizona wildfire in 2013.

No official word on when Dierks plans to release new music.
