We Spent A Lot Of Money This Week

It's a new record for online shoppers, and your prize is whatever you ordered!  We collectively bought $6.59 billion of who-knows-what on Cyber Monday.  Wondering why?  How about $2 billion of that was smartphones.

The National Retail Federation estimated that more than 174 million Americans shopped in stores and online from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday -- a 17 percent increase from 2016.  The average expected spending per person was $335.47. The biggest spenders, however, were people aged 25 to 34 -- who spent $419.52 on average.
