The U.S. Men’s Curling Team had a laugh on Saturday after receiving the wrong gold medals during their medal ceremony. USA Today reports that the five-man team realized shortly after the medal ceremony that there was a bit of a mixup involving the gold medals they were given after beating Sweden 10-7. “The U.S. men's curling team just realized the gold medals they were awarded moments ago say 'women's curling gold medal' on them,” a tweet explained. “Their coaches are working on it.” Team member John Shuster later joked about the funny moment during a press conference, saying "It wasn’t a big deal at all, I promise.” Shuster and Co. made history on Saturday by playing in--and winning--the first gold medal curling game ever to feature an American team.
