10-Year-Old Dies From Electrocution Playing Hide & Seek in Dryer

A 10-year-old boy in Texas was found dead inside a dryer this weekend after climbing into the machine during a game of hide and seek. Autopsy results released Monday show that Fernando Hernandez Jr. was electrocuted after he hid in a dryer in the laundry room of an East Houston apartment complex. His friends and a brother found him unresponsive and he was rushed to a nearby hospital, but could not be revived. "I don't know what happened," said mother Christina Rodriguez. "I was just inside cooking, and my little son came inside and told me my son was dead on the floor...My boyfriend picked him up and brought him into the house. He was purple and his eyes were open and he was gone." Fernando was the oldest of four children.
