Prince Harry Told Meghan Markle To Stop Dressing Like A Hollywood Actress

Meghan Markle has reportedly had some difficulties adjusting to life as a royal since marrying Prince Harry back in May. One of the aspects Meghan is struggling with the most is the wardrobe restrictions put in place by Queen Elizabeth. One of the wardrobe rules Meghan doesn't appreciate is that the Queen prefers royal ladies to wear dresses and skirts as opposed to trousers. Considering Meghan has been seen rocking pants at official events twice in the past few weeks, it definitely looks like she's pushing back against some of these royal rules.

While planning her wardrobe for her upcoming tour of Australia with Price Harry, Meghan wanted to wear a Stella McCartney tuxedo-style suit to an evening event. Prince Harry, however, nixed the idea. The red-headed prince reportedly told his new wife that she needed to stop dressing like a Hollywood actress and start dressing like a royal.

According to the Daily MailPrince Harry likes to give Meghan little fashion tips and the suit is a no go for him. It's interesting that the tuxedo-style outfit would be a problem for Prince Harry because his mother, Princess Diana, was known for wearing them during her time as a royal. According to The Cut, Princess Diana even paired the style with a red bow tie and a green vest on "two regrettable occasions."

People reported that when Meghan questions the royal dress-code, she defers to her husband's judgement. If Harry say the tux is our for Australia, then it's highly unlikely that Meghan will be seen in the outfit during their tour. A source also told People that Meghan  "finds it a little frustrating at times, but this is her new life, and she has to deal with it.”

The good news for Meghan is that she looks fabulous no matter what she wears. Whether it's a tuxedo-style suit or a fancy dress, Meghan's style is alway on point. Even if the Queen might not think so.
