People Magazine has exclusively reported that Zac Brown Band frontman, Zac Brown, is separating from his wife of 12 years, Shelly Brown.
“We feel blessed to be on such an incredible journey in life and sometimes the journey begins to lead in different directions. It is with deep love and respect that we announce we are separating as a couple,” said Zac and Shelly in a joint statement released to the entertainment publication. They claim that this was a "difficult decision" but still have "love and mutual respect" for each other.
The couple met through a mutual friend and have five children together: Alexander, 4, Joni, 7, Georgia, 8, Lucy, 10, and Justice, 11.
