The Anthem Scores ACM Awards Nomination

Congratulations to The Anthem on scoring their first ACM Awards nomination!

The Academy of Country Music revealed the nominees for this year's awards show this morning (February 20) and The Anthem has collected it's first nomination for Venue of the Year - Medium Capacity. The DC venue is up against Red Rocks Amphitheater, Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, Ascend Amphitheater and The Wharf Amphitheater. Red Rocks is a previous two-time winner and Ascend Amphitheater also has a previous win under its belt.

The Anthem opened up in October 2017 by I.M.P., who also owns the 9:30 Club, U Street Music Hall and Lincoln Theater in Washington D.C. as well as Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD.

Brothers Osborne, Kenny Chesney and Maren Morris are among some of the stars set to perform at The Anthem in the coming months.

The ACM Awards will air on April 7 at 8PM on CBS.
